Steven Kay

Steven Kay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in buying and merchandising across various retail sectors. Currently serving as the Commercial Director for Toolstation in the Netherlands since June 2018, Steven has previously held significant positions including Buying Director for Toys"R"Us in the UK and Lead Buying Director for Babies R Us in Europe. Earlier roles include Head of Merchandising for Tesco PLC, Category Manager at Homebase Bunnings, and Director of Electronics for Disney Consumer Products in Europe, where responsibilities encompassed strategy formulation and team leadership. Steven began a career at Argos, progressing through several merchandising and buying roles for categories such as vision, nursery items, and toys. Steven holds a BA Hons in European Business with German from Nottingham Trent University.
