Edyta Petters

Edyta Petters, PhD has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they are serving as the Head of HealthTech Partnerships at Tooploox since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Business Development at Tooploox Research starting from November 2018. Before joining Tooploox, Edyta worked as a self-employed English interpreter and translator specializing in technical translations from October 2013 to January 2021. Edyta has also worked as a Project Manager and Business Development Manager at Wroclaw Research Centre EIT+ ltd. from August 2015 to January 2017, where they were responsible for supporting international IP commercialization and R&D cooperation opportunities. Edyta has also held roles such as Senior Business Development Specialist and Business Development Specialist, where they supported R&D cooperation, IP commercialization, and management. Edyta has previously worked as an interpreter at "Diuna" Translation agency and held QA specialist and assistant roles at Bayer Diagnostic Manufacturing and Unilever Bestfoods respectively.

Edyta Petters, PhD has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wroclaw, which they obtained in 2004. Edyta then pursued a Master of Science degree in Microbiology at the same university from 2005 to 2007. In 2006-2007, they participated in the Erasmus Programme at the University of Sussex, focusing on Genome Damage and Stability Centre in Molecular Biology. Edyta Petters went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology from the University of Wroclaw, completing their studies from 2007 to 2012. In 2011-2012, they attended Uniwersytet WSB Merito Wrocław, where they studied Technology Broker. In 2015, Edyta Petters completed the Top 500 Innovators Program - Science, Management, and Commercialization at Stanford University.
