Christopher Yan is a product designer at TOOTRiS. Christopher has previously worked as a UX designer at Airsoft Megastore, an instructional assistant at the University of California San Diego, and a data analyst intern and marketing intern at Conectric Networks and Learning Equality respectively.
Christopher Yan has always been interested in design, especially when it comes to user experience. Christopher first pursued this interest by studying cognitive science and human-computer interaction at the University of California San Diego. Christopher then put their knowledge to use by working as an instructional assistant, helping other students learn about design principles and applications.
After graduation, Christopher Yan began their career as a UX designer. Christopher has worked on redesigning and prototyping responsive websites for both e-commerce and branding purposes. Christopher has also conducted user research and usability testing with over 300 subjects in order to identify key breakdowns and user needs. In addition, they have led the effort to create and document a style guide that meets the WCAG 2.0 AA standards.
At TOOTRiS, Christopher Yan is able to utilize all their skills and experience as a product designer. Christopher is constantly striving to create the best possible user experience for TOOTRiS’s clients.
Christopher Yan graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Human Computer Interaction and a specialization in Cognitive Science.
