Anna Lisa Vocaturo

Anna Lisa Vocaturo has a diverse work experience. From 2022 to present, they have been a Research Associate at Topas Therapeutics GmbH. From 2020 to present, they have been a Research Assistant at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Institute for Advanced Membrane Technology (IAMT). Her roles include evaluating the enzymatic activity of laccase in solution, conducting literature analysis on enzyme immobilization, and developing biocatalytic membranes for water treatment. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Post-graduate Fellow at INSTM - Italian Consortium on Materiel Science and Technology, where they conducted research on self-cleaning coatings for solar cells. Her roles included characterizing thin films on glass surfaces and synthesizing and functionalizing silica nanoparticles. From 2017 to 2018, they were an Experimental Master's Degree Thesis student at the University of Calabria, where they conducted research on the preparation and testing of visible light active membranes for degradation of dyes and drugs. Her roles included synthesizing and depositing thin films of Titanium Dioxide on membranes and conducting photocatalytic processes in Photocatalytic Membrane Reactors.

Anna Lisa Vocaturo obtained their Master's degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies from the University of Calabria in 2018. Anna Lisa also obtained their Pharmacist Qualification from the University of Calabria in November 2018. In March 2018, they gained the Cambridge First Certificate in English, Level B2 from Cambridge Assessment English. In June 2019, they obtained an Attendance Certificate from the University of Edinburgh School of Engineering for the XXXVI EMS Summer School 2019 - "Membranes for a sustainable future". In January 2022, they gained the Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) from LinkedIn.
