Daria Krzikalla

Daria Krzikalla has been working in the field of biotechnology since 2014. In that year, they completed a research internship at the University of Sydney's Charles Perkins Centre, where they performed immunohistochemical and immunofluorescent stainings, analysed bacterial strains via qPCR and FISH, and presented their data in oral and written form. Daria also completed a research internship at Sanofi in 2015. From 2015 to 2021, Krzikalla worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist and Doctoral Student at the Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, where they were responsible for planning, performing, and analyzing experiments, supervising students, and presenting data on national and international congresses. Most recently, they have been working as a Preclinical Project Manager at Topas Therapeutics GmbH since 2021.

Daria Krzikalla completed their Bachelor of Science in Humanbiologie at The Philipp University of Marburg from 2010 to 2013. Daria then went on to earn their Master of Science in Molecular Bioscience from Heidelberg University between 2013 and 2015. Finally, they earned their Dr. rer. nat. in Biologie from the University of Hamburg between 2016 and 2020.
