Jens Abma

Jens Abma currently serves as an Employee in Elderly Care at Topaz since July 2023. Previously, Jens completed a Bachelor Internship in Microbial Biotechnology & Health at Leiden University, contributing to the European Union funded MARBLES project focused on marine microbes. Earlier experience includes an internship at Sanquin Blood Bank and a position as a Service Desk Employee at Zorg en Zekerheid. Jens is pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University, having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution. Additionally, Jens completed a minor in Infectious Diseases at Wageningen University & Research and has taken extra courses in Nutrition and Health. Jens holds a Gymnasium Diploma from Visser ’t Hooft Lyceum.
