Kris Cowles

Kris Cowles is the Chief Information Officer at Topcon Positioning Systems, where responsibilities include managing all enterprise applications, infrastructure, vendor management, digital transformation, applications architecture, engineering, and cyber security. Cowles has a robust history in IT leadership, previously serving as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Global Applications IT, overseeing a comprehensive application landscape and leading strategic initiatives for operational support and technology partnerships across multiple countries. In addition, Cowles contributed as a Board Member for the ASUG Board of Directors, focusing on maximizing value from SAP technology, and held various leadership positions at Cisco, where achievements included program leadership within a large R&D organization and management of global teams in IT and e-commerce. Kris Cowles earned a degree from Pomona College.
