Lissa Staley is the Community Connections Librarian at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, where responsibilities include promoting civic engagement through community conversations and facilitating services for various organizations. Additionally, Lissa serves as a Book Evangelist and Librarian, specializing as a Health Information Librarian, at the same library since June 2001. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Assistant at the Undergraduate Library of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Lissa holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
