David Brittain has a long and varied work experience. David began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at BAE Systems. In 2000, they joined Superscape as VP of Technology, where they set the global technology direction for the company's internal and external game development teams. In 2008, they moved to Glu Mobile as VP of Technology, where they led the R&D teams that developed Glu's tools and technology for game development. In 2009, they joined Motorola as Senior Director of the User Experience Technology Team, where they led the team that delivered the user interface and applications for Motorola Webtop. In 2011, they became Head of Product Development at Five Apes. In 2012, they became self-employed as a Polyglot. In 2013, they co-founded TopHatch as both CEO and CTO, creating concepts for iOS, Windows, and Android. David also co-founded Light Art Pixel in 2013 as Director, developing in-house and contract mobile applications specializing in graphics and photography.
David Brittain's education history includes completing a PhD in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Bristol between 1995 and 1998, an MSc in Cognitive Science from the University of Birmingham between 1994 and 1995, a BEng in Electronics from the University of Southampton between 1989 and 1992, and attending The Henley College between 1987 and 1989.
