Koos Kegel

Koos Kegel has extensive experience in system architecture and engineering, currently serving as a System Architect at TOPIC Embedded Systems since May 2022. Prior to this role, Kegel had a long tenure at ASTRON from 2002 to 2022, holding positions such as Senior System Engineer, Group Leader for System Design and Integration, and Technical Project Manager, with a focus on radio astronomy instrument development and project management. Additional consulting work in radio frequency designs was conducted at Astrotec Holding from 2006 to 2012. Kegel's earlier career at Ericsson involved various roles from Design Engineer to Object Leader, overseeing product development in UMTS antenna power amplifiers and managing radio development groups. Kegel is also pursuing further education at Open Universiteit while holding a PhD candidacy in Electrical Engineering - Electromagnetics from Eindhoven University of Technology.
