Pieter van Sundert has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Pieter began their career in 1997 at Ernst & Young, where they worked in audit until 2005. Pieter then joined VION, where they held accounting, reporting, and internal audit positions from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, they joined Topigs Norsvin as Corporate Controller and later served as Finance Director for the Asia Pacific Africa region. Pieter also served as Managing Director for the company's operations in China and the Philippines. Currently, Pieter is serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Topigs Norsvin, a position they have held since August 2021.
Pieter van Sundert attended Tilburg University from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Postmaster degree in Chartered Accountant. In 2011, they attended Nyenrode Business University for an Executive post Master degree in Tax Assurance. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree from Avans University for applied sciences Breda in Accountancy (Co-op) from 1992 to 1997. Pieter also completed their VWO education at Katholieke Scholengemeenschap Etten-Leur from 1985 to 1991. Pieter is currently enrolled at TIAS School for Business and Society for an undisclosed degree and field of study, with a start year of 2022. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Chartered Accountant from Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA).
