Junaid Babatunde

Junaid Babatunde has been involved in the software engineering industry since 2013. Junaid began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Network Data Systems, where they learned to use Python as a scripting language and the Django framework to build scalable API and web applications. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at ticketmax, followed by Cedarview Communication Limited, where they built a VOIP system using services such as TWILIO, ngrok, PHP Laravel and MySQL. In 2018, they worked as a Software Developer and Senior Software Developer at Whitespaces Integrated Services. In 2019, they were a Full Stack Engineer at EPOH Inc. and in 2020, they were a Software Engineer and Senior Sof at Autochek Africa, where they built highly scalable and high performant API, together with a frontend application solely for loan management in the automobile sector. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at Topship Inc., building the shipping platform for African merchants.

Junaid Babatunde began their education in 2012, when they attended Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos and obtained an OND in Computer Science. Junaid then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Ilorin, which they completed in 2018. In 2022, they are expected to attend Y Combinator.
