Samantha Weragoda

Samantha Weragoda has a diverse background in the fashion industry. Samantha was a Sr. Head Designer at Topson Downs of California, Inc. where they worked on various denim and woven brands. Prior to that, they were a Senior Designer at Jones Jeanswear group, where they contributed to the launch of several celebrity and private label brands. Samantha also worked at California Concepts as a Designer, where they designed multiple private label brands for major retailers and assisted in the launch of the Karma Denim brand. Samantha began their career as an Assistant Designer at Indosheen Textiles. Overall, Samantha has extensive experience in designing denim and soft wovens across different market segments.

Samantha Weragoda obtained a Foundation degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, starting in 1997 and finishing in 1998. Following that, they pursued a B.F.A with honors in Fashion Design and Illustration at Otis College of Art and Design from 1999 to 2002, specializing in Fashion/Apparel Design.
