Carlos Aguirre

Carlos Aguirre has extensive experience in finance leadership with a strong background in financial planning and reporting. Currently serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Toptal since May 2016, Carlos also serves as Managing Director at AIESTA since October 2014, partnering with clients throughout their development stages. Previously, Carlos spent over eight years at Brightstar Corp., progressing from Financial Analyst to Senior Director/Director of Financial Planning & Reporting, where significant contributions were made to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes, support key executives, and facilitate major financial initiatives, including the company's acquisition by Softbank. Carlos holds an MBA and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology.
