Martin Kalyonski

Martin Kalyonski has over 15 years of work experience in the software engineering and management field. Martin is currently employed as a Software Engineering Manager at EPAM Systems since November 2022, where they lead a team of 10 developers and supports their personal development and growth.

Prior to this role, they worked at EPAM Systems as a Resource Team Lead/Lead Software Engineer since August 2015. In this role, they were involved in a project for a Fintech bank, integrating new savings products into their portfolio. Martin has expertise in .NET Core, Azure, AWS, and MassTransit.

Martin has also held roles at TopView Sightseeing as a Director Backend Development/Solutions Architect, where they designed and developed core modules for the company's enterprise solution, and at Rhenus Logistics as a Team Lead/Solution Architect, where they established Agile processes for a new billing system project.

Martin Kalyonski has a solid educational background in the field of technology. Martin obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the same university, attending from 2003 to 2008. Before entering university, Martin graduated from Mathematical High School "Acad. Ivan Tzenov" in Vratsa. Martin completed their high school education there from 1998 to 2003, with a focus on mathematics and English.

In addition to formal education, Martin has also obtained various certifications, particularly in the field of Azure development. Martin is a Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, with certifications obtained in 2021 and 2023. Martin also holds the AZ 900 - Azure Fundamentals certification from 2020. Martin has leveraged their skills by passing the Certification Exam 70-536 - Application Development Foundation in 2009.
