Andrew Gunther serves as the Principal Planning and Public Health Officer at Torbay Council since October 2008, leading spatial planning policy and delivery work including the Torbay Local Plan and various masterplans. Previously, Andrew held the position of Senior Strategic Planner, contributing to the development and successful adoption of a new Local Plan and masterplans for regeneration. In an earlier role as Environmental Policy & Sustainability Officer, Andrew focused on climate change strategies and sustainability projects. Additionally, Andrew's experience includes a professional student placement at City of Trees, where involvement in green infrastructure projects took place. Andrew holds a Master's of Public Health from Plymouth Marjon University and a Master's in Landscape Planning and Management from The University of Manchester, complemented by a Certificate in Promoting Public Health from The Open University.
