Manas Gupta

Manas Gupta is an experienced engineer specializing in autonomy, behavior, planning, and control. Currently serving as a Senior Autonomy Engineer and Product Owner at Torc Robotics since July 2019, Manas has contributed significantly to the field. Prior to this role, Manas was a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, focusing on swarm tactics for multi-agent motion planning while also working as an Operations Planning Analyst. Manas began a career as a Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra and gained early experience as an intern in Mechanical Maintenance at Bharat Oman Refineries Limited. Manas holds a Master of Engineering in Robotics from the University of Maryland and is presently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at George Mason University, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University.
