Shile Li

Shile Li is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Torc Robotics, having joined in June 2023. Prior to this role, Shile Li worked at Algolux as a Computer Vision Researcher from May 2022 until its acquisition by Torc Robotics. Shile Li's experience also includes serving as a Research Engineer at Huawei Deutschland, focusing on algorithm development for autonomous driving, lidar-based localization, and perception tasks such as semantic segmentation and 3D object detection/tracking from July 2020 to April 2022. Before that, Shile Li completed a PhD at Technische Universität München, specializing in computer vision, indoor visual odometry/SLAM, and deep learning-based hand pose estimation from May 2016 to November 2021. Shile Li earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Munich between 2009 and 2015.
