Sumukh Patil

Sumukh Patil is an experienced Autonomy Software Engineer II at Torc Robotics since August 2021, with prior experience as a Robotics Engineer at Duro UAS, where software for an autonomous underwater vehicle and firmware for a water quality measurement device were developed. Sumukh served as a Research Associate at Stevens Institute of Technology, focusing on autonomous exploration software for mobile robots, and also contributed as a Research Assistant on trajectory-following for unmanned underwater vehicles. Teaching experience includes serving as a Robotics Instructor at STEAM Works Studio, where a team won the 'Lil' Einstein' award in a FIRST Lego League Jr competition. Sumukh holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, earned between 2016 and 2018.
