Jake Sweatman

Jake Sweatman has extensive experience in finance and accounting, spanning over a decade. Jake began their career in 2011 as a financial consultant with Hilliard Lyons and later worked as an underwriting manager and financial analyst with Coastal Credit LLC. In 2017, they joined Deloitte as an advisory senior analyst and then moved on to Home Credit US as a senior financial analyst. Jake has also worked as a manager of finance and accounting with Sellozo and V2 Ventures, respectively, from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they served as interim finance manager for Pushly before becoming the head of finance for Platform Venture Studio in January 2022 and now currently holds the position of head of finance with Torch.AI since June 2023.

Jake Sweatman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Public Finance and Legal Studies from Indiana University Bloomington in 2011. Jake then pursued a Masters of Science in Finance from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago between 2013 and 2015.
