Avery Fairbanks

Avery Fairbanks is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as an Aerospace Engineer II at Torch Technologies, Inc., since March 2019, focusing on software and data analysis in optics and fragment tracking for various contracts. Prior to this role, Avery worked as a Test Technician and held positions such as Research Assistant at the UAH Propulsion Research Center, where design work for wind tunnel and heat transfer experiments was performed, and as an Aerospace Engineering Intern at CRM Solutions, Inc., conducting structural analysis with finite element analysis software. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, both from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, alongside notable accomplishments as Valedictorian in high school.
