David Nelson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and software design engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Design Engineer at Torch Technologies, Inc., David has successfully delivered the Decider toolset, enhancing the decision-making process for complex Department of Defense engagements. Previously, David held leadership roles in various organizations, including Lead Enterprise Architect at By Light Professional IT Services, where oversight of the Condition Based Maintenance Plus Program was delivered, and Chief Enterprise Architect at IBM, leading innovative projects that combined data science and machine learning for military applications. David's career also includes significant contributions at Wylei, Jacobs Technology, Booz Allen Hamilton, and other firms, demonstrating a consistent focus on integrating technology and governance within military and enterprise frameworks.
