Mandy Varley, PhD

Mandy Varley, PhD has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they began working at Torch as a Senior Behavioral Scientist and a Behavioral Scientist. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in a variety of roles, including Program Manager and Evaluator, Executive and Career Coach, PhD Candidate in Organizational Behavior, Leadership Instructor, and Research Project Manager. In 2018, they founded their own company, Mandy Varley, LLC, where they work as a People Scientist, Learning & Development Consultant, and Coach. In 2017, they founded the PhD Progress Collective, a group coaching program for PhD students, and served as its Founder and Facilitator. From 2013 to 2012, they worked at Misys as a Campaign Marketing Manager for Southern Europe and at Blackbaud as a Marketing Manager for Enterprise. In 2012, they also worked at Convio as a Marketing and Communications Manager, launching the Convio brand and products in the UK market.

Mandy Varley, PhD has an extensive education history. Mandy obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organizational Behavior Studies from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University from 2014-2020. Prior to that, they attended emlyon business school for a study abroad programme, Lancaster University for their MBA, Mercer University for their B.A. in Psychology, French, and Business Administration, and Columbus School for Girls for their High School Diploma.
