Luis de Leon

Luis De Leon has extensive experience in procurement and maintenance planning within the mining and machinery sectors. Currently serving as Comprador at Torex Gold Resources Inc since May 2017, Luis has developed a strong background in strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation, previously holding key positions at Scorpio Mining and Road Machinery Co., SA de CV, where responsibilities included maintenance planning and purchasing management. Luis also contributed to supplier evaluation and materials acquisition at Gold Corp Inc and began their career in supply management at Peal Mexico. Academically, Luis holds a Diplomado in Executive Lean Logistics from Tecnologico De Monterrey and has foundational education from Conalep.
