Stephen Vickers

Stephen Vickers is the current CEO at Torfaen County Borough Council. Prior to this, they served as the ADASS Regional Lead - Digital from July 2019 to June 2021, the Director Adults and Communities - Director Adult Social Services (DASS) from September 2018 to July 2021, and the Director Adults and Wellbeing - Director of Adult Social Services (DASS) from April 2018 to September 2018. Stephen also served as the ADASS Regional Lead for Adult Safeguarding from April 2017 to August 2018 and as the Assistant Director Operations and Support from March 2015 to April 2018.

Stephen Vickers has a Bachelor of Philosophy (BPhil) from The University of Birmingham and a BA (Hons) in Social Work from De Montfort University.
