Stephen Vickers

Stephen Vickers is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Torfaen County Borough Council and a Non-Executive Director at Respiratory Innovation Wales. Previously, Stephen held leadership positions at Herefordshire Council, where Stephen was responsible for strategic leadership in adult social care, public health, and community development. With a background in law, policy, and evidence-based practice, Stephen also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at De Montfort University. Additionally, Stephen has experience in safeguarding roles at various councils in the West Midlands and Leicester, focusing on mental capacity and deprivation of liberty safeguards.
