Andrew Romero

Andrew Romero currently serves as the Director of Clinical Operations at TORL BioTherapeutics, LLC, since October 2023. Previously, Andrew held positions at Kite Pharma, where responsibilities included managing Phase 1 and Phase 2 cell therapy clinical trials and handling internal audit findings, and City of Hope, focusing on oncology research coordination for various clinical trials. Andrew's experience encompasses regulatory compliance, patient safety, and study startup processes. In earlier roles, Andrew contributed to environmental consulting at Amec Foster Wheeler and research assistance at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology from UC San Diego and is actively engaged in self-education within the pharma and biotech sectors.
