Liisa Koivisto

Liisa Koivisto has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Liisa has worked as a Project Manager at Digipolis.fi since March 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Tornion kaupunki - City of Tornio, including Vice President of Municipal Audit Committee, Member of the Elderly People Council representing the Technical Board, Member of the City Council, and Member of the Technical Board. Liisa also served as a Board Member at Tornion Energia Oy. Additionally, Liisa has been an Entrepreneur at Digibisnes and Farm Escape. Liisa served as the Vice Chairman of the Board at Tornion Yrittäjät from January 2019 to December 2022. Furthermore, they worked as a Project Manager at Digipolis.fi and Kiertotalouskeskus - Circular Economy Centre. Liisa also has experience as a Lecturer at Lapland University of Applied Sciences from 2015 to 2017 and again from 2020 to 2020.

Liisa Koivisto completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Information Technology from Lapland University of Applied Sciences between 2005 and 2009. Liisa then pursued a Vocational Teacher Education program at Oulu University of Applied Sciences from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, Liisa studied at the University of Jyväskylä from 2002 to 2005 where they focused on Russian, German, Information Technology, and Basic Business Studies. Liisa also spent a short period in 2004 as an exchange student at Saint Petersburg State University, specializing in Russian Language and Literature. Currently, Liisa is planning to complete a Johtamisen ja yritysjohtamisen erikoisammattitutkinto (Specialist Vocational Qualification in Leadership and Business Management) at Ammattiopisto Lappia from 2023 to 2024.
