Changda Zheng has a diverse work experience in the field of firmware engineering. From 1999 to 2004, they worked as a Junior Firmware Engineer at Seagate Technology, where they developed a hash table, implemented a decision tree, and created a Sense Key specification. From 2004 to 2009, Changda served as a Firmware Engineer and later as the Core Team FW Design Engineering lead for two new products at Seagate. Changda was responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from innovation to manufacturing. From 2009 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Seagate, where they developed a Narrow Band Dwell Mitigation system and improved drive performance by 5%. In 2020, Changda joined Itasca Technology Inc as a Principal Firmware Engineer, where they defined and designed power electronics solutions and optimized firmware using fixed point arithmetic. Changda is currently working as a Principal Embedded Software Engineer at The Toro Company.
Changda Zheng's education history begins with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
