Matt Colby

Matt Colby currently serves as the Managing Director of Lean Enterprise & Business Analytics at The Toro Company, leading the development and deployment of operational excellence systems and strategies. With extensive experience at The Toro Company, previous roles include Sr. Director and Director of Lean Enterprise, where significant productivity and working capital improvements were achieved. Prior to joining The Toro Company, Matt Colby held various positions at Honeywell, encompassing global program management and operational excellence for large divisions, with notable achievements in Lean Continuous Improvement and strategic sourcing. Earlier in the career, operational management roles were held at US Bank, underscoring a solid foundation in operations and customer service. Matt Colby holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the UMN Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Business from the University of St. Thomas.
