Vidal Chavannes

Vidal Chavannes, Ed.D, serves as the Senior Director of Community Safety at Toronto Community Housing since November 2025 and holds positions as an Adjunct Professor at Ontario Tech University and a Course Instructor for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, designing and facilitating courses focused on data-enhanced decision-making and inclusive leadership. Previously, Vidal Chavannes was the Director of Strategy, Research, and Organizational Performance at Durham Regional Police Service and has been involved with Ryerson University and ReSolve Research Solutions, Inc. since 2019, where the latter is a consultancy specializing in healthcare, education, and business development. With an educational background that includes an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Calgary and degrees in education and history/English from York University, Vidal Chavannes has also contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
