Sean Coates is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government relations, program management, and business development. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Provincial Development Lead at Toronto Global, Sean is focused on enhancing the SME supply chain ecosystem in Ontario through the SCORE program. Previously, Sean held the position of Director of Program Management at the Toronto Region Board of Trade, where efforts were made to support Canadian companies in international trade. Other notable roles include Director for Western Canada at Workhaus, Customer Success Manager at Intellitix, and Client & Business Development Lead at 5Crowd. Sean's background also includes positions at Kobo Inc. in sales operations and international markets, as well as early career roles in research and production. Sean holds an MBA in Management of Technology & Innovation from Toronto Metropolitan University and has earned a post-graduate certificate in TV Writing & Production from Humber College, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Commerce from Queen's University.
