Janene Taylor

Janene Taylor is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Regulatory Officer at Toronto Hydro since June 2025. Taylor oversees corporate strategy, regulatory affairs, government relations, legal services, and governance, providing strategic leadership to align operations with evolving regulatory frameworks and the priorities of the City of Toronto. Prior to this role, Taylor was Vice President of Planning and Customer Experience at ENMAX from June 2018 to June 2025, where responsibilities included ensuring system reliability, overseeing long-term planning, and managing customer relations.
