Malik Faruq

Malik Faruq is an experienced IT Technical Consultant currently employed at Toronto Hydro since August 2014, specializing in Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and virtualization technologies such as VMWARE. Malik has a strong background in system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, having previously worked as an Analyst for MDM solutions at BlackBerry Ltd. from January 2010 to July 2014, where responsibilities included administering Active Directory and managing virtual servers. Earlier in the career, Malik served as Systems Manager at the American Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, overseeing a network of over 500 users and multiple server types to ensure operational efficiency. Malik holds an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Business Administration at Dhaka University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology.
