Dean Dunbavin

Dean Dunbavin serves as the Associate Director of IT Strategy & Innovation at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, beginning in February 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing operations at Toronto Pearson, Canada’s largest airport. Dean has been a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada since December 2010. Previous roles include Manager of PMO and Senior Project Manager at Redknee, specializing in infrastructure services for the global mobile industry, and Project Manager at NEC (UK) Ltd overseeing major telecommunications projects. Dean's early career includes key consulting roles at Bechtel on significant rail projects and a foundational position at Laporte plc as a Communications Technician. Academically, Dean holds an Executive MBA from Athabasca University and a BEng (Hons) in Control Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield, among other certifications and educational credentials.
