Elise Verheggen

Elise Verheggen is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Baggage Programs & Projects and Baggage Services at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority since December 2019, where leadership includes overseeing baggage operations at Toronto Pearson Airport. Previous roles include Manager of Central Utilities Plant and Cogen & Utilities, responsible for operations and maintenance of airport utilities, and Manager of Aviation Infrastructure Maintenance, focusing on maintenance of non-terminal buildings. Prior to this, Elise worked at Patheon as a Facilities Supervisor and Reliability Engineer, establishing reliability engineering practices and improving maintenance programs. Elise's career also includes a position as Reliability Engineer at IKO Industries and First Line Manager at Morrison Lamothe. Elise holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
