Mark Manickaraj

Mark Manickaraj currently serves as the Executive Director of Digital Products at Greater Toronto Airports Authority since July 2025. Prior experience includes roles at General Motors from March 2011 to July 2019, where Mark was the Global Director of Product, leading AI-driven B2B and B2C products, and also served as the Software Engineering Manager for autonomous vehicles, notably contributing to the development of the award-winning SuperCruise software. At BrightDrop, from June 2020 to August 2023, Mark held the position of Director of Software Engineering and was part of the founding team that built a large engineering organization and launched a successful EV SaaS platform. Additionally, Mark managed product development for premium eBike solutions as General Manager of ARIV at General Motors for a brief period in 2019. Mark holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Ryerson University.
