Ansel Salim

Ansel Salim is a seasoned procurement professional currently serving as a Procurement Specialist with the Toronto Police Service since May 2023. Prior experience includes multiple roles within the City of Toronto, focusing on Category Management and Strategic Sourcing in Information Technology and Cybersecurity. Ansel has also worked as a Procurement Coordinator for HealthPRO Procurement Services Inc., specializing in Capital Equipment for Canadian Healthcare, and held various positions in procurement and purchasing analytics across organizations like Compass Group, AmerisourceBergen, LCBO, and Sobeys. Ansel began a Bachelor of Arts in Peace & Conflict Studies and Human Resources Management at the University of Waterloo in 2005 and is currently pursuing further education at the same institution. Ansel’s background includes a foundational role as a Pharmacy Technician at Shoppers Drug Mart.
