Clay Beers has over three decades of experience in telecommunications and IT infrastructure management, currently serving as the Infrastructure Services Manager for the Toronto Police Service since December 2006. In this role, Clay oversees a team of 80 staff, ensuring 24/7 operational support for critical IT infrastructure. Prior to this position, Clay held managerial roles in Telecommunications Services and Radio and Electronics Services at the same organization, managing significant teams that supported mission-critical voice, data, and video networks, including the Project 25 Radio systems for emergency services. Clay's experience also includes a senior technical role at Point to Point Communications, where contributions in system integration and engineering helped the company grow significantly, as well as a foundational role at Motorola Canada providing system support for public safety and commercial customers. Clay holds a degree in Avionics Electronics from Confederation College, completed between 1978 and 1981.
