Chief Information Officer, Information Technology Command at Toronto Police Service

Colin Stairs is the current Chief Information Officer at the Toronto Police Service. Colin has held this position since January 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Information and Digital Transformation Officer at Medcan from March 2016 to January 2020. Colin has also been the Chief Information Officer at Lakeridge Health from August 2011 to March 2016, where they led the IM/IT functions for the hospital, including a regional effort to implement a shared clinical information system. From April 2010 to August 2011, Colin was the Acting Chief Information Officer at CAMH. From February 2008 to April 2010, they were a VP (Principal) at nD Insight, a consultancy focused on management and quantitative analytics in healthcare and the broader public sector. Colin Stairs has an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, where they focused on strategy, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Colin also has a B.Sc.
