Derron Lee

Derron Lee is a Solutions Architect at Toronto Police Service since September 2023, bringing extensive experience in technology and education. As the Creator and Founder of Twig, from September 2021 to April 2023, Derron developed a privacy-focused app designed to maintain communication among families and friends through check-ins and emergency alerts. Previously, Derron worked as a UX Researcher at IBM, exploring AI applications for e-commerce onboarding. Derron's earlier roles include Research and Development Engineer, Information Technology Manager, and IT Network Support Specialist at Sandals Resorts International. Additionally, Derron served as a Lecturer at HEART College of Innovation and Technology, teaching various subjects in IT and contributing to curriculum development in emerging technologies. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Digital Experience Innovation from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology & Networking from Middlesex University.
