Lanie Schachter-Snipper serves as the Head of Mental Health and Wellbeing at the Toronto Police Service, where responsibilities include developing a comprehensive mental health strategy for over 8,000 members and leading a multidisciplinary team. With extensive experience, Lanie worked as a Workplace Mental Health Consultant at LSS Mental Health Consulting and previously held the position of National Head of Outpatient Services at EHN Canada, transforming mental health services nationally. Lanie co-founded UpFront Counselling and Anger Management, and has held roles such as Clinical Director and Registered Psychotherapist, earning recognition for clinical excellence. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling and Applied Psychology from the City University of Seattle, a Visiting Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from McGill University.
