Henna A. serves as the Senior Manager of Human Resources & DEI at the Toronto Region Board of Trade since 2023, bringing extensive experience in human resources from previous roles, including Human Resources Manager at GFI Global Food and Ingredients Ltd. from 2022 to 2023. At GFI, a leading Canadian plant-based food and ingredients company, Henna A. contributed to connecting local farms with the global supply chain. Prior positions include People and Culture Manager at hear.com, a rapidly expanding hearing care company, and Human Resources Generalist at Medcan, a healthcare leader. Henna A. also worked as a Recruitment Specialist at Green and Spiegel, a boutique immigration law firm. Educational background includes an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Equity Studies and Women/Gender Studies from the University of Toronto, along with further studies at Seneca Polytechnic.
