Padraic Foley is an experienced leader in the realms of strategy and innovation, currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Partnerships at the Acceleration Consortium since April 2021, where efforts focus on enhancing materials science through AI and robotics. In addition, Padraic chairs the Innovation Economy Committee for the Toronto Region Board of Trade, driving improvements in the region's technology infrastructure. As a member of the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Advisory Board at NGen Canada, Padraic contributes to advancing Canada's manufacturing innovation. Previous roles include director positions at the Ontario Centre of Innovation, facilitating business development and commercialization, and experience in research partnership management at Brock University, as well as a research role at McMaster University. Padraic's educational background includes an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Chemistry from University College Dublin and McMaster University.
