Byungchan Lee

Byungchan Lee serves as the Interim Development Manager at Toronto Summer Music since May 2024 and has been a Substitute/Extra Violinist with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra since March 2020. Prior experience includes Substitute/Extra Violinist roles with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra from June 2015 to May 2022 and artistic consulting at The Royal Conservatory of Music from September 2019 to September 2021, where Byungchan was awarded the Rebanks Family Fellowship for the 2019–2020 program. Additional roles include Program Associate for Music Mondays, Group Leader for the Hire Juilliard Performers at The Juilliard School, and Substitute Faculty for the Orchestra of St. Luke's. Byungchan holds a Master of Music from The Juilliard School, an Artist Diploma from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Music from McGill University.
