Robert Dixon

Robert Dixon currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra since November 2022. Prior to this role, Robert held various development leadership positions at Toronto Metropolitan University, including Executive Director of Advancement and Marketing for the Faculty of Community Services, and Director of Development for the Faculty of Arts. Robert's experience also includes significant roles at Médecins Sans Frontières, the University of Oxford, and 3FF, focusing on major gifts, fundraising strategies, and donor relations. Robert began a career in music, serving as an Organ Scholar at Jesus College, Cambridge, and Gloucester Cathedral, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theological and Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge.
