Cynthia Lai

Cynthia Lai currently serves as the Councillor for Ward 23 Scarborough North with the City of Toronto since December 2018 and holds multiple board positions, including a Board Member for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and a Commissioner with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). Prior to her current roles, Cynthia served on the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) as a Teaching Faculty Member and was awarded Emeritus Status in 2016. Cynthia founded Global Link Realty Group Inc. and operated as Broker from 2006 until December 2018, with previous experience as a Committee Member of the City of Toronto Committee of Adjustments and leadership roles in various other real estate firms, including Visar Realty Inc. and Re/Max Goldenway Realty Inc. Cynthia's educational background includes studies at the Ontario Real Estate College.
