Nancy Zheng is a seasoned professional in railway signaling engineering with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Signals Designer/Engineer at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) since November 2021, Nancy oversees the review of internal signaling circuit designs and is responsible for developing the Signals Design Standards & Guidelines Manual. Previous roles include Senior Signals Engineer at WSP in Canada, where Nancy led the signaling design for multiple projects, including the Scarborough Subway Extension project. Experience also encompasses a significant tenure at AECOM, where responsibilities included the Eglinton ZCP Decommissioning Project and the Metrolinx GTS Resignalization project. Beginning a career at Liuzhou Railway Administration of Chinese Railway, Nancy progressed from Maintainer/Assistant Signal Engineer to Signal Manager/Engineer. Nancy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Rail Traffic Signaling and Control Engineering from Northern Jiaotong University, Beijing, China.
