Guillermo Trias

Guillermo Trias has a diverse work experience. Guillermo is currently the CEO and Co-Founder at Tidal Financial Group, where they focus on ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). Prior to this, they worked as a Partner and CEO at Toroso Investments. Guillermo also founded and served as the President of GT CAPITAL ADVISORS LLC. Previously, Trias worked as the Head of Strategy & Business Development at Global X Funds LLC. Guillermo also founded and was the Managing Partner at MC Capital KGT Fund. Trias has a background in finance, having worked as an Associate in Global Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank and as an Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions at BT Wolfensohn - Bankers Trust. In addition to their finance experience, Trias founded and served as the CEO of Solex Partners LLC, a Chicago-based importer, distributor, and marketer of Spanish foods and wines in the US market.

Guillermo Trias completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from CUNEF in 1998. Guillermo then pursued further education between 2002 and 2004, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. During this time, their studies covered various subjects including Entrepreneurship, Management & Organizations, Marketing, and Non-Profit Management.
