Karin Ophir Zimet

Karin Ophir Zimet is the current VP, People & Ops at Torq. Prior to their current role, Karin served as Senior HRBP at Symantec from January 2019 to April 2020 where they were responsible for managing and orchestrating the acquisition process between Luminate and Symantec. Karin was also responsible for implementing all HR and operational integration of previously-acquired start-ups into the Symantec organization.

From January 2018 to December 2019, Karin served as Head of HR and Operations at Luminate Security where they were responsible for the Luminators culture and all HR aspects including HR processes and policies, welfare, organizational and personal development, performance management, and talent acquisition. Karin was also responsible for all operations aspects including workplace, day to day needs, OS finance, and legal teams.

Karin Ophir Zimet has a degree from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) and a certification from IDC Herzliya in the Board of Directors Executive Course.
