Maryam Naushad has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Maryam began their career at Carolinas Healthcare System, where they worked as a Registrar from 2008 to 2012 and later as a Patient Financial Services Specialist from 2013 to 2014.

In 2015, they transitioned into the field of education and worked as a First Grade Teacher at the Egyptian American International School. Maryam implemented differentiated instruction and developed interactive activities following Common Core Standards.

From 2016 to 2017, Maryam worked at Lighthouse Relief, where they served as a Community Liaison Officer/CFS Educator, managing relationships with the community and developing tailored curriculum materials. Maryam also worked as a CFS Supervisor, coordinating and supervising volunteers in the Child Friendly Space.

Maryam then joined APAX English in 2016 as an ESL Instructor. Maryam maintained data and progress reports for learners, collaborated with different teams, and demonstrated teaching methodology utilizing SMART technology. In 2017, they transitioned into the role of Head Teacher & Trainer, advising educators, collecting and analyzing data for over 300 students, and managing scheduling.

In 2020, Maryam took on the position of an EAL Specialist at the Australian International School in Vietnam. Maryam provided support to English learners and developed strategic plans for academic remediation and enrichment.

In 2022, they worked at moozoom as an Implementation & Customer Success Manager, responsible for managing customer success and overseeing implementation processes.

Currently, Maryam works as a Customer Success Manager at TORSH, a position they started in February 2023.

Maryam Naushad has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Maryam also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the same university. In addition to their degrees, Maryam Naushad obtained a Teaching License-Standard certification from the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) in June 2021.
